A landlord was beated by his tenant after warning him against bathing at the porch of the rented apartment
The tenant has been arraigned before a Magistrate Court and granted a 1000 cedis bail .The landlord who was admitted at the hospital has been discharged and currently nursing his wounds
A frustrated tenant, Paa Kwesi Pamford gave his landlord the beating of his life after he, the landlord accused him of committing rituals in his house.
Media reports indicate that Paa Kwesi Pamford, who has been taking his bath at his porch instead of the bathroom provided by his landlord whipped the landlord with a cassava stick after being challenged to stop bathing in the porch.
Pamford was arrested and arraigned before the Amasaman Magistrate Court charged with assault. He pleaded not guilty. Pamford, who first appeared before the court on March 16, was granted a GHC1, 000 bail by the presiding judge, Mr Osei Asibey. The prosecutor, Inspector Frederick A. Ansah told the court earlier that, Pamford rented the single room two years ago from Mr. Appiah at Treba, near Kpobiman. He said ever since, Pamford and his wife moved into the house, he always took his bath on the porch but his wife used the bathroom
Meanwhile the said landlord who was admitted and discharged from hospital is noted to have been nursing his back wound for some weeks before they were eventually healed.
